A sand-cement screed is by far the most common floor in Dutch homes — as is the poured anhydrite screed, to which the same applies. Both are an excellent base for having underfloor heating milled in: the channels are easy to cut neatly and the heat is distributed evenly.
Our milling machineWe work with a professional FloorIQ milling machine with direct dust extraction.
Ideal base — Sand-cement mills excellently, with a clean, neat finish.
Even heat — The pipes sit at equal spacing for even heat distribution.
No loss of height — The floor height stays the same; doors and thresholds remain intact.
Quickly walkable — Often the floor can be used again the same day.
Good to know
With a sand-cement floor we check the thickness and quality of the screed beforehand, so we can mill to the right depth without weakening the structure.
