Underfloor heating tied on mesh
With the mesh system we tie the underfloor heating pipe to galvanised steel mesh laid on the insulation or foil. If reinforcement is going into the floor anyway, we tie the pipe directly to that. The screed or concrete floor is then poured over it, so pipe and mesh are fully anchored in the floor. It is the most robust installation method — in homes, extensions and especially in industrial halls.

Why choose tying on mesh?
- Rock-solid — pipe and mesh are fully anchored in the screed — nothing can shift while pouring.
- Also for concrete floors — ideal in industrial halls and new builds; if reinforcement goes into the floor, we tie directly to that.
- Free layout — any spacing possible; 100 mm centre-to-centre as standard for primary heating.
- Large areas — we also install thousands of metres of pipe in commercial buildings — throughout the Netherlands.
With the mesh system, allow for a screed of roughly 5 to 7 cm above the pipe. We lay the mesh (on spacers if required), tie the pipe, fit the manifold and pressure-test the system before pouring. Pouring the screed itself is arranged by you or your contractor; we align our planning with that. For an existing floor without a new screed, milling in is the smarter choice.
